Student Connect - Get Connected

To help ease your transition into higher education, IBIBS wants to know more about you.

Student Connect is a new program designed specifically to help you. Our team actively engages with all first year students through appointments with Student Development Advisers, where we’ll talk about what you think, why you’re here, and where you want to go.

Starting at a new academic institution can be daunting, so the idea of Student Connect appointments is give you an understanding of what IBIBS is all about and what resources you have available to you. In order to give you the most rewarding experience possible we want to get to know you!

Appointments aim to help you adjust to your new academic life by assisting you with questions you might have and helping you think about things in different ways. We want to help you explore your future personal and career goals so that hopefully by the end of the appointment, you’ll feel more confident about the years to come.

Expect a phone call from IBIBS Student Connect

If you’re a new first year undergraduate, the Student Connect team will call you to book an appointment.

Student Connect is a program designed specifically to help you and your transition to, through and out of IBIBS. A Student Development Adviser will work with you on what you think IBIBS’s all about, why you’re here, and where you want to go.

If you’re a later year or graduate student, you can contact us online, by phone, or in person to set up an appointment.

Attend your Student Connect appointment

Appointments are free and scheduled for half an hour at a time that suits you. You’ll have your appointment either before or during your first semester.

Please ensure you have filled in your online form before you come. We’ll send this to you at the time of booking. Although the appointments are not compulsory, you are strongly encouraged to attend. This is because we will be helping you plan your IBIBS experience, as well as discussing your rights and responsibilities as an IBIBS student.
